Ronson ORT High School

Mount Carmel, Israel

Opened nearly three decades ago to answer the growing tertiary educational needs of the neighbouring Druze communities of Dalyat El’Carmel and Usifiya, the Ronson ORT High School on Mt Carmel has been a cornerstone of the communities’ development, affording it’s graduates the opportunity and access to successfully integrate and participate in Israel’s bustling economy, society and public life. This school is scheduled to undergo a major refurbishment in the coming years to provide the community of students and staff with the most current facilities and modern fit-for-purpose learning environments.

The Druze people are one of many ethnic and religious minority groups in Israel. The Druze population in Israel is about 118,000 people, most of them live in one of 22 Druze villages, all of them in the north of Israel.
