Gesher provides a happy, meaningful and functional specialist learning environment for children with special educational needs. This includes language, communication and social pragmatic difficulties, as well as an expertise in autism spectrum challenges. The school was created to fill a gap in the Jewish Community’s educational infrastructure and opened in 2017 with just 7 children, it achieved an Ofsted Outstanding in all areas 7 months later. The school is now full with 40 children who in their short time at Gesher have made remarkable progress.
“The Gerald and Gail Ronson Family Foundation have supported Gesher on an ongoing basis since its inception, and helped seed fund the school. The trustees have always taken the time to understand the needs of our children and families enabling a community, where before there was none. Their support has been a huge endorsement for Gesher enabling the school to go from strength to strength.”
